Step One: Configuring
Network Connection
Click on Start
Click on Settings
Click on Control Panel
Double Click on Network
Select the TCP/IP protocol
that is bound to your Network Card and then
click on Properties. Do not
put anything in the Dialup adapter
Click on Specify an IP address
and enter the IP address and Subnet Mask
that belongs to you.
Click on the tab that says Gateway,
and enter your gateway address.
Then click on Add to
install the gateway.
Click on the tab that says DNS
Configuration and click
Enable DNS. In Host put your
initials. In Domain put northerntel.net. In
DNS Server put 216.129.224.65 and
216.220.0.1 Then click Add
to install DNS.
Click on OK to close TCP/IP
Properties.
Click on OK to close
Network window.
Click yes to restart your computer.
Step Two: Configuring
Internet Explorer
Click on Start
Click on Settings
Click on Control Panel
Double Click on Internet Options
Click on the Connections
tab
Click on Never Dial A Connection
Click on OK |
